The Region 2-5A wrestling championships are being held in Dallas this year and it is stacked with hammers in every bracket. These brackets are loaded with Top 20 wrestlers and only the top five in each weight class will be packing their bags for the state tournament in Houston next weekend.
Highlighted by two of the top teams in the state this year in Carrollton Creekview and Frisco Centennial and perennial powerhouses Grapevine and North Richland Hills Birdville there are lots of fantastic story lines that will unfold in this region.
Lots of ranked match-ups and plenty of upsets are to be expected and some very good wrestlers will come up short in the quest to make it to the Berry Center in Houston for the UIL State Championships.
